Meru National Park
Spanning 870 sq. km, Meru National Park is a rugged, remote, and unspoiled gem. To the northeast, it borders Bisanandi National Reserve, while Kora National Park lies to the southeast.
The park is also famous for inspiring the book Born Free by Joy Adamson, later adapted into a movie based on the true story of Elsa the Lioness.
